Part 3 of a three-part series on the response to anti-Asian bias in Brookline. Ashley was born in Malaysia, grew up in Brookline, is a recent graduate of BHS, and is currently a sophomore in the Commonwealth Honors College at UMass Amherst. Ashley is active in the Brookline Asian American Family Network (BAAFN) as well as being a co-founder of Asian Coalition MA. She shares some of the specific issues that younger Asian-identifying activists are working to address, as well as the array of responses (helpful and less-helpful) by the community so far.
