Your support led to many projects and programs that we hope will sustain BIG’s critical community media work as our traditional cable fees and other independent local media sources precipitously decline.

As we explore new ways to fund our services, we hope to better understand how we can best serve our community’s shifting local media and communications needs, provide training and equitable access to media-making tools to residents and nonprofits, amplify new voices and record the untold stories of Brookliners, and continue providing transparency for our local democracy and facilitating community dialogue.

Our important community services include extensive coverage of Town Meeting, Select Board, School Committee, emergency information, town/school events, celebrations, small nonprofit and business events, lectures and the numerous types of creative and informative BIG member programs such as religious services, senior-focused show, community and civic discussions, domestic violence, and youth and children’s programming.
