PUBLIC COMMENT

Public Comment period for citizens who requested to speak to the Board regarding Town issues not on the Calendar.

Public Comment Guidelines, adopted by the Board in May 2007, are that (1) up to 15 minutes at the beginning of each meeting may be open to the public for public comment. (2) speakers are limited to 3 minutes and (3) there will be no comments from members of the Board. Please call the Selectmen’s office (617) 730-2211 to sign up on the Friday before the date you wish to speak so that we can schedule time.

Question of approving the minutes of March 27 and April 3, 2013.

Question of approving and executing a Preservation Restriction for the property located at 20 White Place.

Question of accepting gift in the amount of $11,199.81 from the Estate of Leon Satenstein for the Brookline Holocaust Memorial Committee Fund.

D.
Question of approving and executing a contract for “Generator Replacement at Fire Station #5” with Systems Electrical Services in the amount of $75,300.

E.
Question of co-sponsoring with the Human Relations/Youth Resources Commission a community discussion on Diversity, with Ronald G. Marlow Assistant Secretary of Access and Opportunities and Sandra Borders, Director, Office of Diversity and Equal Opportunities on May 1, 2013.

Question of granting a temporary Wine and Malt beverages license to Dexter Southfield School, Ian Moorhouse, Director of Campus Programs, in connection with a Cocktail Reception and Book Signing event with Mark Frost, Author of the “The Greatest Game Ever Played” to be held at the School’s Clay Centre, 20 Newton Street on Thursday May 18, 2013 from 5pm-8:30pm. This event is in connection with the 2013 U.S. Amateur Golf Tournament to be held at The Country Club in August.
